Fritz and Pete

We're "dog people". Fritz, is our late German Shepard and Pete belongs to our eldest daughter, Karin, and her husband Steve.

In her current job, Anita gets to do all kinds of "neat stuff". She recently went to the South Pole, for example -- that's her (bundled up) at the left. The others in the picture are (L to R) Neal Sullivan (who runs the Director of Antartic Programs at NSF), Bob Watson (who runs the undergraduate education programs at NSF), and John Hopcroft (Dean of Engr. at Cornell, and member of the National Science Board).
