Ph.D. Proposal

In December 2012 I successfully presented my Ph.D. proposal, entitled "Leveraging Light-Weight Analyses to Aid Software Maintenance", to the selected committee. My expected date of graduation is May 2014. (document) (slides).

Masters of Computer Science (MCS)

In May 2010 I completed both the MCS degree and the Ph.D. Qualifying Examination in the UVA CS graduate program under the advisment of Westley Weimer.

Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.)

I completed a B.S. in Computer Science in May 2008 at the University of Delaware under the advisement of Dr. Lori Pollock and Dr. Vijay Shanker. I participated in undergraduate research for three years in the UD Computer Science department and completed a senior thesis. Select papers and the thesis can be found on the publications page.

Distinctions:

  • Recipient, Donald W. Harward Scholarship, December 2008
    • A monetary award given to a senior Honors Degree with Distinction candidate, based on their academic accomplishments, to permit the student’s full-time Winter Session research for the senior thesis.
  • Recipient, Hatem M. Khalil Memorial Award, May 2007
    • A monetary award given to a CIS major in recognition of outstanding achievement in software engineering.
