About Me

I am currently an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia (UVA). This spring, I will be teaching Introduction to Cryptography (CS 6222).

Previously, I received my PhD in computer science at Stanford University in 2018, where I was advised by Dan Boneh. Before that, I received my BS and MS in computer science from Stanford University in 2013.

My research interests are in cryptography and computer security. Please see my publications, talks, and projects pages for a more comprehensive overview of my work. I am always looking for students interested in cryptography or computer security. Please email me if you are interested in working with me!

I have served (or will serve) on the following program committees: Crypto 2020, ISMB/ECCB 2019, Eurocrypt 2019, CANS 2017.
