1 Your Task

Go to the homework site at https://kytos02.cs.virginia.edu/cs3130-spring2025/pipeline/pipeline.php and follow the instructions there.

Answers on the submission site are saved but not submitted automatically. (You can submit by pressing the buttons at the bottom for each of the two parts.)

First you will need to identify the instruction fetch order, then fill out a pipeline diagram and forwarding information correctly. (These will display side-by-side if your window is wide enough.)

Similarly to the cache lab, you will be allowed a certain number of mistakes which each problem until you complete one correctly. You can request a new problem if you make too many mistakes. Once you complete a problem correctly without too many mistakes (before the deadline), you will have full credit for the homework.
