Friday Poem

How do dragons fly on such puny wings?

Untitled Poem

A dragon strode through the ice and snow
Though no snow flake on it could land
For its inner fire let the snow sure know
That no cold could the scales stand.
Soon the dragon swam as the ice did melt,
Then it flew in the rising steam.
And ’tis steam that holds them above the veldt,
Not their wings as it might else seem.
