Homework C4: Due Wednesday, 13 April by 11:59 p.m.

  • Logon to your CodeLab account at www.turingscraft.com and complete the assigned exercises in chapters 8 (arrays).  That's 23 questions: 20690-20709, 20650, 20662, and 20664
    • Note that "declare and instantiate" means "define and initialize" (for questions 20690 and 20691)
    • Note that for questions 20692 and 20693, the initialization is to be done by specifying the initial element values with braces, i.e. not with a loop

 

Homework C3: Due Wednesday, 30 March by 9:00 a.m.

  • Logon to your CodeLab account at www.turingscraft.com and complete the assigned exercises in chapters 5, 6, and the extra section on Strings.

Homework C2: Due Wednesday, 2 March by 9:00 a.m.

  • Logon to your CodeLab account at www.turingscraft.com and complete the assigned exercises on Using Objects (chapter 3) and Being Classy (chapter 4)
  • That's 18 questions: 20578-20581, 20583-20584, 20589, 20626-20635, 20637

 

Homework C1: Due Thursday, 3 February by 8:00 a.m.

  • Logon to your CodeLab account at www.turingscraft.com and complete the assigned exercises on Java Basics (chapter 2). When establishing an account
    • Use your official university email address as your login name (e.g., abc1d@virginia.edu)
    • If you are in CS101-1 use VIRGIN-7756-1389 as your section access code
    • If you are in CS101-E use VIRGIN-0778-1464 as your section access code
    • Use the license code that came with the text book if you got the book at the UVA bookstore; otherwise, you will need to purchase a license from TuringsCraft
    • The CodeLab assignment C1 is due Thursday February 3 by 8:00 AM
  • You are allowed to submit multiple times, so we expect everybody to successfully all of the assigned exercises.
  • There are a total of 47 problems: 20503-20515, 20519, 20522-20525, 20527-20540, 20542-20548, 20572, and 20591-20597
