Friday Poem

A short thought inspired by a conversation on “‍the keys of the priesthood.‍”

The indended cadence has two beats for the first four words of the 1st and 3rd lines, one beat per syllable thereafter. Thus, the first line might be metered ♩♩♩♩♫♫♩; the next ♫♫♫♫♫♫♩; etc.

Untitled Poem

Keys don’t drive cars. This is clearly true.
Engines move them, drivers steer them, wheels roll them too.
Keys don’t do much (essential though they are).
Power matters, purpose matters, these two drive the car.
