The Career
Workshop is pleased to provide travel grants to broaden the
participation in the workshop. Students as well as junior faculty and
researchers in computer architecture are eligible to apply. Students
are encouraged to submit applications to both this workshop and to the
MICRO
conference student travel grants.
This support is made possible by the generous support from ACM
SIGMICRO, IEEE TCCA, JST, and IBM Research. The grants will partially
cover an
applicant's
travel cost to Fukuoka, Japan where the MICRO Career
Workshop will be held.
Priority for travel grants will be given to women and minority
applicants, with a particular emphasis on student presenters at the
MICRO Career Workshop and early tenure PhD students.
Special funding will be provided for Companion Travel Grants to support
attendees with disabilities or a parent of an infant less than one year
old who cannot travel without the infant and a care provider for the
infant
