Midterm 1: on Wednesday, 22 February, in class

  • This semester's first exam is on chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5.  The focus will be on chapters 2 and 3.
  • Previous exams from last spring and last fall.  We do not have answers in electronic format, but if you are unsure, you can ask any of the course personnel.
    • If you are interested in more practice exams, see the exam page from last semester
    • Note that this semester's tests will follow the topics covered from last fall, which is different than previous semesters
  • This semester's first midterm, grading guidelines, and regrade form
  • The test is open textbook

Lab Quiz 1: on Thursday, 23 February, during lab section

  • This semester's first lab quiz is here.
  • This semester's first exam is on chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5.  The focus will be on chapters 2 and 3.
  • 101-E students take the lab quiz on the Sunday following the lab quiz date (i.e. 26 Feb), from 7:00-8:30, from any computer.  The link will be made available at that time.

Midterm 3: on Wednesday, 26 April, in class

  • This exam is cumulative, and thus covers chapters 1-8.  The focus will be on chapters 4 and 8, however.  And only the parts of chapter 7 that have been studied in lecture are fair game for the exam.
  • The review points from the Jeopardy review (from the lecture on 24 Apr)
