We have settled on a naming convention for printers that I believe will make things a little easier to manage. Each printer will be named printerxxx, so for example printer001, printer002, printer003 etc. This will be the printer name and the share name to avoid confusion.

The simplest way to find out what to name a printer when adding will be to log into the portal and search for the word “Printer.” Then you will simply go to the end of the list and add the next number.

The comments section will be used to keep track of printer location and users assigned.
