Add Printer In Ubuntu
- Login in on the MATE GUI
- Click on menu and search: printer
- Click on Printers
- Click on server, connect, and connect to the cups server [more info needed]
- Enter the root password: who -n 2
- Type the host name of the printer
- Select the printer with the right IP address and hit “forward”
- Type in the user name “root” and password “who -n 2” and click apply
